Warehouse, Shipping Team Excel During Construction

Seventeen warehouse and shipping team members have successfully kept Bison’s supply chain moving along during the new facility construction.

Under the guidance of Site Manager Arman Ebrahimi, the team implemented a plan with COO JC Stiles to ensure they keep product in stock. The six-phase supply plan allowed for the building’s construction which began in March.

Back in mid-January, Ebrahimi said the packaging department prepared for the limits construction presented to their work area by stockpiling high sale, high volume items to ensure reliable availability for Bison’s customers.

“This ensured the customers’ needs are always met on time,” he said. “I’m proud that we didn’t have any product on hold because we were under construction and didn’t miss any production time,” Ebrahimi said.

Ebrahimi said the challenge is now moving the process from downtown to the new location, so they will implement the same phases and store products for several departments to smooth the transition.

“Everything will work smoother when everyone is under the same roof,” he said. “None of these things could be accomplished without teamwork between employees and management.”

Once construction is completed, Bison workflow will be more efficient due to having all the departments under one roof which will make transfers between departments easier.

Ebrahimi moved from Iran to the United States in 2014 to escape religious persecution. He joined Bison in 2016, working his way up from portable assembler to backboard department supervisor, and then to packaging and shipping supervisor.

He briefly left Bison in 2022 to pursue building his own business but decided to return in late 2023 as Site Manager after missing his colleagues.

I care about my teammates at Bison,” he said. “They are like a second family to me.”

Ebrahimi is married to his wife, Mahroo, and they have a 14-month-old son, Aaron. Outside of work, he spends time with his family, brother and parents. His father, Behrouz, also works for Bison.
