Bison’s Padding Department produces all wall padding and scoring tables as well as much of the padding for portable basketball and volleyball systems and continues to see incredible growth. We are excited to announce that the department was the first to move to our new 85,000 square foot manufacturing facility, and has approximately doubled its capacity.
We have added to our fleet of full color vinyl printers including updated models with faster print times and improved image quality and durability. The printshop is now in an even larger temperature, humidity and dust controlled room.
Our woodshop that CNC routers all of our wood backing, and cuts and attaches all foam prior to final assembly is twice the size of our prior woodshop allowing more output per day.
Sewn padding and related sewn products are benefiting from additional space, more sewing equipment, and additional experienced staff allowing us to offer more sewn padding options than in the past.
Scoring table sales continue to exceed expectations, and more space has been allocated in this department to continue to expand this area of Bison’s product line.
At this point, the department includes 10 full-time staff members with the room
to continue to add as demand continues to increase.
With our busy summer and fall seasons just around the corner it’s not too early to work with your schools and other facilities to get orders placed to avoid delays that, despite our increased capacity, are likely as we get closer to fall.
