Employees Recognized for Hard Work, Challenges

Bison employees were recognized at the annual holiday party held this year on November 26. This holiday party marked the 50th holiday party.

“I founded this company 50 years ago with high school friend, Elmer Wessel,” Cusick said. “Our first customer was Kawasaki Motors, who had just moved to Lincoln in 1974. Bison began in 1985 as an offshoot of our company, Industrial Machines Specialties.”

“I’m thankful for all of you who have made the dream of building and moving into this new facility a reality,” he continued.

The party was held in the recently constructed new building connected to the warehouse. Employees were recognized for meeting and dealing with the challenges construction and beginning to transition to the new facility created. They were also recognized for their hard work and daily contributions and enjoyed a Thanksgiving meal and everyone won a prize.

Employees were recognized for their longevity with the company at 5-, 10-, 15-, and 25-year anniversaries. Three employees, including Sara Flanagan, Sammy Horton, and Carrie Hoyt were recognized for 25 years of service. Behrouz Ebrahimi and Dave Smith were recognized as Employees of the Year.  Ta Moo and Musafer Ziyadi were recognized as Newcomers of the Year and Matthew Quintana was recognized as Lead Person of the Year.
