In any organization there are staff members who are often in the spotlight due to their position and others who work behind the scenes just getting things done that are critical to the success of the organization. John Delisi, Engineering Superintendent is one of those hard working, behind the scenes, dedicated Bison team member who for 32 years has continued to help Bison move forward. There are few, if any, Bison products that John has not had a hand in developing from concept, initial product design, prototype fabrication, testing, final design, tooling production, component sourcing, instruction and submittal creation, and ultimate ongoing product improvement.
Plant Manager, Phil Studnicka confirms “I have worked with John for 24 years now and | rely on him just as much now as | did then. He provides a plethora of product and company knowledge as well as years of experience. He is always willing to help anyone who asks for help with anything from complicated problems to just lending a helping hand. He is a true cornerstone of Bison.”
Given John’s longevity with Bison he has a wealth of institutional knowledge that is incredibly valuable and goes beyond the technical data that is captured in engineering and production documents.
COO, JC Stiles, who has worked closely with John for the last 5 years, agrees with Phil that “John is a remarkable employee, with unwavering dedication to his work. His commitment is impressive, and he consistently goes above and beyond. When faced with adversity, John emerges as the steadfast anchor — the person you want by your side. He is an invaluable asset to the team.”
In addition to John’s engineering team role, he also supervises the Bison maintenance staff and is often seen getting his hands (and his clothes) dirty when his team needs help.
“Bison dealers often overlook the importance of Bison team members like John who work tirelessly to help Bison build partnerships with our customers” says CEO, Nick Cusick.
Bison thanks John for his past, present, and future efforts.
